Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake, is a popular Nigerian singer and songwriter who was born on January 13, 1995. Asake is signed to YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution, and his stage name “Asake” is derived from his mother’s name. He studied Theatre and Dramatic Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.

Asake Career

Asake released his debut single in 2017, and his career took off in 2022 with the release of his hit single “Mr. Money,” followed by a remix with Zlatan and Peruzzi. In February 2022, he was signed by Nigerian artist Olamide to his YBNL Records imprint, and he released his debut extended play, Ololade, later that same month. The EP featured his breakthrough song “Omo Ope,” featuring Olamide, and the single “Sungba.” In July 2022, Asake signed a distribution deal with Empire.
